To my friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers who have served or are serving in the US military

To all of you who have made me sleep better at night,

helped make it possible for my daughter to vote for the first time ever a few days ago,

made it possible for me to own my own home,

travel where and whenever I want,

move to a tiny country thousands of miles away.

and still be a citizen of the USA .



Your contributions are endless, your generosity and sacrifices too numerous to mention, your stories, untold, are uncountable.

For all you have done, for all you are doing, and for all you will someday do. I may not agree with all of the reasons, but I can appreciate you for your personal heartaches and sacrifices.
