Amanda Syme	Thankfully "flash floods" and "mud slides" tend to be names of drinks in this town - not dangers to life and limb. This TD16 is stubborn. Weathermen now think it may stay together enough to become a tropical storm in the pacific. We just need it out of here!

Amanda Syme	Dang - just watched the weather channel. TD16 is still with us and now the winds look like it might get sucked up towards Florida in the days to come - it didn't cross over the Central American isthmus after all. Looks like some rain coming in from the north right now.
